More Life Lessons

Just in case you didn't know, it's not a good idea to put half a dozen eggs on to boil and then go to the next door neighbor's house and drink sangria for two hours.

Did you know that super heated eggs will not only explode, but explode quite violently? I got the egg off the cabinet on the other side of the kitchen, but there's still egg on the ceiling. And to be fair, I didn't plan on staying at the neighbor's, but she needed to borrow some ice, and when I took it over there we started talking, and I like her, and, well, I forgot. Oops.

Also in case you were wondering, the proper ratio in Jell-o shots is one cup of water and one cup of liquor, not half a cup of water and a cup and a half of liquor. The vodka doesn't set quite as firmly as water does. But they were tasty!

The Ducks won the Stanley cup, and I have mixed feelings about that. For one, they're not the Stars, and that sucks. But they deserved to win. They played really well, and Ottawa didn't even show up for most of the games. But after last year, I was really hoping that the Cup would make a trip back to Canada. Also, I really don't like Anaheim. So there.
