Just curious

I really need to stop doing things "just to see what happens." Last night I let a candle burn all the way down on a glass candle plate just to see what would happen. I had a pretty good idea, but, you know, I had to see. The candle still had the sticker on the bottom, so once it burned through the wax, I had a pretty good flame going.

Then the plate exploded. Glass flew across the room and there was wax everywhere.

Oops.
