There's nothing like a spazzy dog...
Well, last night was exciting....it was getting cloudy out about the time we were putting the kids to bed, so Missy was freaking out....she's scared of lightning. It wasn't raining or lightinging (I always wonder if that's a word) yet. but I guess she thought it was going to, so she started scrabbling on Brandon's window. She was so freaked out that she managed to bust right through the window. And we have double-paned windows, too. Glass everywhere. It was a mess. Luckily Mike had stopped by and was still there, so he helped me clean it up and put some cardboard up. I hope he gets a job soon so we can have the window replaced...I have no idea how much it will cost! We're still waiting to hear from Tyler...the union representative had talked with the HR guy, but the HR guy declined the request or whatever, so now the union president is going to meet with the HR manager guy...whatever he's called. We should hear by Tuesday. If that doesn't work, the regional union guy can set up a meeting with the head HR guy (actually, I think it's a gal) and Mike can plead his case or whatever...here's hoping! Of course, it's a slim, ragged, see-through shred type of hope....again, not counting on it. Mike got applications in at four more places today, so we'll see...he's starting part time nights at Pizza Inn on Thursday, and he put in at Wal*Mart and Home Depot too, for during the morning, so he still has time to apply for jobs in the afternoon. He talked to the manager and some of the guys he used to work for at the S. Arlington Home Depot...they're all at Mansfield now so hopefully he can get in there. I told him he can come home once he can gaurentee me $800.oo a month, which is what I need to cover the rest of the bills. Ay, what a mess this is!
