I love Stephan Pastis

Two months in only four paragraphs

Wow. It's been almost two months. Playoff hockey does that to me, sorry. My Stars had a great run but lost out on the Conference finals. It was very sad. But seriously, the were playing Detroit. Detroit's going to win the Cup, and there's no shame in losing to them. But still, very sad. Boo.

We went to Galveston a couple weeks ago for my friend Jen's wedding and had an absolutely fantastic time. Just Mike and I. I didn't get to see Jen as much as I would have liked, but the weather was great and the weekend was very relaxing and overall it was fabulous. I want to go back!

I FINALLY got the opportunity to get a Bowflex and I love that thing! I bought it off of my neighbor a few weeks ago and it's my new favorite toy. AND it only cost me two hundred dollars, which it the best part!

I finally finished the cabinets I kept saying I was going to build in the garage. My neighbor thought it was hilarious that it was me building them when he came over. He called me Bob the Builder. They turned out all right, but I had to alter the building plans halfway though and so now I have holes in the drywall I have to patch. Oh well. So now I'm ready to start construction on the bar but that has to be put on hold for awhile because Mike lost his job Friday. That's always fun. And the economy is so sucky right now that I really worry about him finding another soon. So. Anyone who knows of anyone hiring, let me know ASAP.
