Anaheim in reach...maybe

The Stars, after having managed to close the gap between them and division leading Anaheim to just nine points, have lost BOTH their games since the All-Star break. One of the games had gone to shootout, which is usually a sure thing for the Stars, but they even lost that. To the Penguins! The Penguins suck at the shootout! But what can you do. I hope they start winning again soon...

I bought a flat iron this weekend. I've been hesitant to do so since my hair in addition to being unruly has such a tendency to dry out, but I gotta say I'm really impressed with it so far. It did a good job.

I hurt my tailbone pretty badly last Friday and it's still really sore. It hurts to sit and drive. But that's OK, because last weekend, it hurt to sit, or move, or lie down...

What's this white crap?

Today was the second time this week that I've woken up to frozen stuff on the ground, and both times were (for me) completely unexpected. Monday was a holiday though, so no big deal, our doctor's appointment just got cancelled. But today I woke up and everything outside was white again...shocking, let me tell you. So of course the first thing I did was check the closings, but I still have to work, darn it. Not that I didn't want to go in--I need the money--I just didn't want to drive. I'm a Texan for goodness sake! I don't know how to cope with this! In a span of about ten minutes, the closings went from 22 listings to fifty listings, but still no luck, so I set out...but then I get a phone call before I even get to the highway saying we're closed. Yay! So, I'm going back to bed.

I don't know what the deal is. Blogger's not being nice to me lately. Anyway.

The Stars were embarrassed by Anaheim last night. Prior to that they were embarrassed by Phoenix. And Vancouver. All in all, things are looking pretty crappy for them. They need their players to get healthy fast or end up with a really sucky playoff seed. If they even make it...

I came to the realisation the other day that I'm twenty-eight years old and have never driven through a fast-food drive-through. Not once. I mean, I really don't eat fast food very often, but still. How unAmerican.
