No one ever comments anymore. I feel so unloved...

Today's the last preseason game, and then the season starts. yay! Hopefully regular season will go better than preseason. The Avs are gonna give the Stars fits this year.

I have to put on makeup today because it's picture day at work. I hate wearing makeup, and I hate even more wearing it to work. It sucks a lot. I don't know why we have to have our pictures made every year anyway. There should just be a stock photo. It's not like I change from year to year...

Random Python quote of the day:

"It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut."

WHY??

Why can you not buy JUST THE STICK out of a packet of Fun Dip? Why? Who cares about the powder? The same stuff's in Kool-Aid and Pixie Stix. Both are yummy, but the STICK!! I love the stick. Crunchy and sweet and a taste you can't find anywhere else. Not to mention addictive. A big, bulk-sized box of sticks wound be a dream come true. Like a shoebox full. Nothing but nice, clean white sticks. It's like crack, or something.

Gimme the stick!!

Random Python quote of the day:

She turned me into a newt!! I got better.

New pictures!

I finally posted some pics from vacation. Sorry it took so long. There's supposedly more to come, but you know how that goes...it has been three months...

Help! Help! I'm being repressed!

...and stuff...

This kitten we have has invented a wonderful new game in which he gets between my feet while I'm wearing my robe and tries to stay there while I walk around. VERY DIFFICULT to walk with a kitten between your feet at 430 in the morning.

Ok, don't panic. It's only preseason. But the Stars are looking pretty rocky... Hopefully things will settle down once the roster's set. It's crazy stuff. Oh, and I love Matthew Barnaby. Welcome to Dallas.

I had a beautiful omelette for dinner tonight. i love omelettes. Yum. I make mine with cheese and pepperoni.

Mike brought me a bottle of Stolichnaya on Saturday because he loves me. Yay!

I really, really hate drying my hair. It sucks a lot. I wish I had hair that didn't need to be dried. People who don't have to dry their hair ALL SUCK.

Autumn wants to have a Halloween party this year. Sounds like fun. I think we'll do it.

Random Python quote of the day:

"Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!"

the phrase that sends me into transports of joy...

THERE'S HOCKEY ON TV TONIGHT!!!!

Yay!! I'm so happy I could pee my pants! Granted, it's only preseason, but it's the NHL! On TV! YAY!!

The Stars won their first preseason game against Atlanta last night 5-2, but I know nothing else since that one wasn't aired. But I get to watch the one tonighe, AND the one tomorrow. I can hardly wait. Yay!

We went to the Rangers game Saturday, and the kids were whiny because they wouldn't take a nap that afternoon. But they promised that they'd sleep when we go again this weekend, so we'll see. I wouldn't hold my breath...

Anyway, I have to go be excited now. Hockey buzz is interfering with my ability to think.

Crazy runs in cat families, too.

I know I've mentioned how psychotic Lucius is, and it seems it's hereditary, as well. The one we kept is fairly normal aside of some odd eating habits, but my mom's been complaining that the one she took is so crazy that she's threatening to return her. Sorry, though; no tradebacks. And now, Megan's telling my all kinds of stories about the kitten she took, the latest being the cat laying across Megan's face and trying to smother her in her sleep. Good luck with that. No tradebacks.

You know that filter you have that makes you not say stupid things? Yeah, mine doesn't work. So many things go straight from my brain to my mouth with no pause in between. Sometimes it gets my in trouble, but mostly it just makes me look like an idiot. Exhibit A: Mike and I were talking about the windows in the car...he'll drive around with them cracked, but I have to have them either all the way up or all the way down. I told him it was because if my windows are down, I automatically stick an arm out. Now, I could have stopped talking, but NO, not me, and I continued on to say, "and it hurts every time I crack my hand against the glass if it's not all the way down." Just had to go and admit to doing stupid things...

Save the crab, man

Save the Crab!

Paid for by the Element friends of Save the Crab, a group organized by me, the rabbit, to help get Gil’s job back. This site is intended for protest purposes only, and is not meant as a sustainable food source, even as printed material, unless of course it is printed on chocolate paper. But I don’t think that has even been invented yet. But when it is, this rabbit will be first in line. Mmmm! Forgot to ask, have you hugged a woodland creature today? Put it on your "to do" list, but always let us sniff the back of your hand first. We don’t hug people with too much cologne. All rights preserved. Gil’s images, text and other stuff are the sole possession of Gil Frankenfurter. (He’s going to be mad, but we had to use his real name here, shhh!) But he freely gives all rights of usage to his fans to spread the word. By the way, I won't use your info for any weird stuff like spam about stocks or anything. We don’t roll like that. Anyway, check out this official privacy policy if you won’t take a rabbit on his word. Sorry about all the tense changes, I am a rabbit, remember. Thank you and please pinch responsibly.

Steve Irwin 1962-2006

Steve Irwin--better known as The Crocodile Hunter-- was killed this morning by a stingray in Australia. My kids will be quite sad.
